Ahhhh Pottery Barn you delight me

Many of us have loved Pottery Barn products for years - and now they ship to Australia! So i have wanted someone to make me this Forever, im totally loving their lighting as well - i know some PB stuff is a little mass produced but a lot of the design is just plain old lovely!Its the Anna Desk and Hutch.



I also have a thing for chandeliers - love these

I could add pics all day - but id never get anything done.

My beautful  Nanna is going into hospital tomorrow for an endoscopy and colonoscopy - she is very scared and im sending all my hugs and kisses, warm wishes and peace vibes for her. Pop will look after her, he hasanother clean bill of health from his specialists too.

Mmmm - dont eat them often as i cant eat a lot of sugary - but there are 2 friends Lyndall and Zsuzsanna who are fantastic at cake decorating! So this is for them.

And last but not least - Owl cookie jar which i think is delightfull - id have it full of choc chip cookies all the time!

Things i love:home

So -  a bit of background info - we bought our house 5 years ago in November, its a little old run down fibro shack. With over 850 sq mtr of back yard! Awesome huh?! Its a narrow site though so in the next 5 years we will be rebuilding a new home - and ive designed it! Obviously im not an architect, its not drawn to scale but the house is my design and i cant wait to see it drawn properly!
Untill then - i love to look at the various home magazines, online resources and have in the pipeline a rebuild of our laundry - which is outside. I'll go take a photo soon and you will see what i mean. In the meantime, i have been looking a lot at Pinterest, at the different laundry - and home offices/sewing rooms. If there is one thing i love to do - thats plan and decorate. I love it - i do it well and i have a clean uncluttered look, with a bit of luxe thrown in for good measure. So - i will share with you all my design and messy not drawn to scale plan of the new laundry! Again - will have to photograph - and mr battery is charging up - so i promise i wont forget.

Im going to start sharing the many beautiful pictures ive found - also i have been taking a few of my own, tring to get some experience in - i do think i need a few lessons though!

Life and lemons....

Yesterday was upsetting and dissapointing. I wont go into it but i wish there was a workplace that had people that didnt have their heads so far up their sphincters that they dont listen properly. And thats all im going to say on the matter - except for talking to my mum and messaging my friends helped me to be not so upset.

Prioritising

Sometimes life just gets in the way!
Pretty much every day in the back of my mind im thinking (along with the other bazillion things!) i have not been blogging and it looks like ive forgotten to!

Much has been happening in life - but not a lot of making as the happenings of life have kinda been restrictive.

Now i have started prioritising. Time is a gift these days and ive been taking time to do ....not much of anything! Apart from caring for family and friends i have neglected myself a lot over the past few years so now that ends. This blog was initially going to be for crafting and business alone - but since this is so entwined with my life and the fact i also work full time at another job - for now its going to be about everything! Struggles, fun, sad, love, dislikes (hello housework) and the whole shebang. Once things are sorted and prioritised to my liking i may start back at my other blogger blog, which was of a more personal nature but is sadly neglected too! What i can say is i have a huge project im trying to get off the ground.....giving our back room a total make-over and turning it into my room - no boys allowed! Since it currently serves as the junk/other halfs office, its going to be a struggle!
I have a light grey paint colour and white for trim i want to use - and a basic design layout - all i need to do is kick Mr out!
More to come after we get some weekend chores done - and i have me time again!

It may be winter - but the sun shines today - and the kookaburras are having a sing....more rain to come.

Back to it!

After a rather enforced break from everything - and putting the wonderful Koko&Gracie on hold for a bit - im now slowly moving forward to having the website done. I met a lady recently who has gone through a similar process, and agreed even though its a tough slog - its totally worth it in the end.
